The mission of the Georgia Association of Medical and Equipment Services (GAMES) is to facilitate business success, influence public policy and improve patient care.

Member Services

GAMES provides a variety of member services, including:

  • representation at regional and national meetings,
  • participation in an extensive communications network,
  • education seminars covering a wide variety of timely and useful topics,
  • promotion of community efforts to improve and advance the industry, and
  • information and advice based of years of industry experience.
     

Education is Important

GAMES is dedicated to the ongoing education of its members. We hold quarterly meetings and educational sessions on subjects of interest to suppliers, including Competitive Bidding, Reimbursement, PR & Marketing, Oxygen & Respiratory issues, Rehab, and more. Medicare, Medicaid and Jurisdiction C updates are an important part of most meetings.

Georgia Rehab Technology Council

It is the mission of GRTC to provide a unified voice for Georgia’s Assistive Technology Providers. We will utilize this voice to educate the public about the issues related to our profession and advocate for improved outcomes for Georgians in need of assistive technology and services. The Georgia Rehab Technology Council (GRTC) is chaired by Chip Fiske, Care Medical.

Annual Convention 

Each year GAMES holds an annual convention pack with education and networking opportunities. The 2008 Annual convention is being held August 4-6 at The King & Prince Resort, St. Simons Island, Georgia. Confirmed speakers include: Louis Feuer, Dynamic Seminars and Consulting; Clay Stribling, Brown & Fortunato; Jane Bunch, Jane's Healthcare Consulting; Patricia Ross, Georgia Medicaid; and Mark Higley, VGM.
